How to flash the VS 1000 receiver...
- Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system.
- Download a image from: https://openpli.org/download/vimastec
- Unzip the image file onto the USB stick (you now have a directory /vs1000 with 2 files: imageversion, disk.img)
- Switch the box off and unplug the power
- Plug the usb stick into the receiver
- Press and hold front button on the box, plug-in the power, and wait "flashing" on display, only then release the button
- The receiver will now be flashed. After completion the receiver will restart
If you don't want to switch off and unplug, you can skip that step, but then expect having to wait very long (40 sec or more) before "flashing" is shown on the display.
