The PULSe 4K mini and his big brother are both multiboot boxes with 4 slots.
- Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system.
- Download a recovery image + a full image from the OpenPLI website.
- Only unpack the recovery file and place this on the USB stick.
- You can copy the actual image packed to the root of the USB stick.
- Plug the USB stick to the back panel USB port.
- Power on the box.
- Push and hold the power button of the RC and the recovery image will be flashed.
- Immediately after flashing the recovery image the box boots in the recovery mode.
- From the recovery mode you can now flash the actual (local) image on the stick.
- You can leave the USB stick in the box. Convenient if you have a proper backup.
