We support three GigaBlue models. The UHDquad 4K, UE 4K and the Trio 4K.<br The procedure flashing a new image is with all supported hardware the same.
How to flash a GigaBlue receiver...
- Format a USB stick with a FAT32 file system
- Download the USB image of your choice on https://openpli.org/download/gigablue/
- Unpack the USB image file on your PC and copy the full unpacked content to the root directory of your USB stick.
- Switch your GigaBlue receiver off (Power off, not stand-by!).
- Place the USB stick in one of the available USB inputs. Preferable an USB 2.0 input at the back of the box.
- Switch the receiver on. If an image is recognized push Power (left front side on the box) within 10 seconds. This is mentioned on the TV screen.
- Now the flashing-process is started. The progress is shown at the display of the box.
- Wait until update is loaded. The box restarts as a completely fresh box with the latest software.
- Depending whether you have a backup file on the same stick the backup will be restored (if you like) during booting.
