SET-TOP-BOX COMPARISON
In the table below you will find most of the STB's supported by OpenPLi, with their technical specifications, real power consumption figures, and the OpenPLi version supported for the model. Please note that this list shows only relevant differences between STB's. Features that are shared by all (like digital S/PDIF audio out) are left out.

- A** PVR means fully-featured recording settop-box, Zapper means watching only, no recording, no streaming.
- B** The vendor may sell both single and dual tuners, so there may be one or two tuners in one slot.
- C** This excludes USB harddisks, because they can always be connected regardless. Connectors are (e)SATA unless otherwise noted.
- D** Limited transcoding means: only one (small) resolution, quality is poor. Standby means: only operable in standby.
- E** Limited means: SD full motion and HD I-frames only (pictures gets updated 1-2 times a second)
