The PULSe 4K mini and his big brother are both multiboot boxes with 4 slots.

  1. Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system.
  2. Download a recovery image + a full image from the OpenPLI website.
  3. Only unpack the recovery file and place this on the USB stick.
  4. You can copy the actual image packed to the root of the USB stick.
  5. Plug the USB stick to the back panel USB port.
  6. Power on the box.
  7. Push and hold the power button of the RC and the recovery image will be flashed.
  8. Immediately after flashing the recovery image the box boots in the recovery mode.
  9. From the recovery mode you can now flash the actual (local) image on the stick.
  10. You can leave the USB stick in the box. Convenient if you have a proper backup.
