How to flash Zgemma H1/2S/H2/S

  1. Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system.
  2. Download a image from: https://openpli.org/zgemma.
  3. Unpack the ZIP file and place the content on a USB disk.
  4. Plug the USB stick to the back panel USB port.
  5. Power on,
  6. Press the Power Key on the front panel after you see “USB”on the display. Then the display shows “Flash”
  7. When done the box will boot up on its own.
  8. Remove usb stick once boot has completed.


How to flash a Zgemma I55 IPTV device.

  1. Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system.
  2. Download a image from: https://openpli.org/zgemma.
  3. Unpack the ZIP file and place the content on a USB disk.
  4. Change the name of the file 'Noforce' to 'force' and disconnect the stick.
  5. Plug the USB stick to the USB port at the right side of the I55.
  6. Power on the box,
  7. The Red led on the front lights once. After about 2 min it light again.
  8. When done the box will boot up on its own.
  9. Remove usb stick once boot has completed.
  10. After you have configured the basic things like Language, video and lan you choose to download plugins.
  11. Basically the only plugin you need is RemoteStreamConvert to let the I55 do his job.


How to flash Zgemma H7S/C/AC

  1. Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system.
  2. Download a image from: https://openpli.org/zgemma.
  3. Unpack the ZIP file to the USB stick.
  4. You should see a "zgemma" folder in the root of the USB stick.
  5. Power off your receiver.
  6. Plug the USB stick to one of the back panel USB ports. Recommended to remove all other USB connected devices.
  7. Power on
  8. Immediately after power on PRESS AND HOLD the front power button behind front flap.
  9. The display will show boot, USB, FLSH. Once FLSH is displayed you can release (stop pressing) the button.
  10. Wait, when "boot" is displayed you can remove the USB stick

How to flash Zgemma H8

  1. Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system.
  2. Download a image from: https://openpli.org/zgemma.
  3. Place the USB stick in the box while the box is powered off.
  4. Turn on the device at the back and immediately push and hold the power button on the RC.
  5. After 10 sec or so you can notice (blinking logo) that the image is being flashed.
  6. As soon as the flashing succeeded the box boots and you can start to configure the box.
  7. If you have a proper backup on the stick the box restores all settings and will run like before.
  8. As mentioned above, in case a backup is on the stick preferable you leave it in the box.
  9. Enjoy your just flashed image.

NB: If you do this without a flashable image on a USB stick, the box will boot into the recovery menu.
