Installing an Image on the Formuler F4 Turbo

<u>Note:</u> In order to load the image automagically, rename the file called "noforce" to "force"
 
 
It is easy to install a new image. Simply download the Formuler f4 turbo image you want and put the folder on a USB key.
 
 
 
Y0u put the USB key into the receiver and power on the receiver. It should read USB in the display.
 
 
 
Press the standby button on the side of the front of the F4 Turbo to install the image.
 
 
 
Let it finish. The receiver will reboot when done.

How to flash the receiver...
Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system. Download a image from: https://openpli.org/download/formuler. Unpack the ZIP file and place the content on a USB disk.

  1. Power off the receiver
  2. Ensure no other USB devices are plugged into the receiver
  3. Insert the USB stick containing the image into the rear port.
  4. Power the receiver on.
  5. The display should read USB. Press the standby button on the side of the front to install the image.
  6. If successful the receiver will reboot itself after the flashing process has completed.
  7. Remove USB stick that contains the image files.

Note: In order to load the image automagically, rename the file called "noforce" to "force"
